New Hampshire Hospitality Employee Relief Fund

Created in 2020 to respond to the COVID-19 crisis, the New Hampshire Hospitality Employee Relief Fund has evolved to support all of NH’s food service, lodging, and attraction employees who are facing unforeseen hardships with financial support.

We’ve helped over 800 hospitality employees and distributed over $200,000 in relief grants since the fund’s inception.

Serving Those Who Serve Us

The New Hampshire Hospitality Employee Relief Fund is a nonprofit fund that provides one-time grants of up to $250 to hospitality employees experiencing a crisis like an illness or natural disaster. These grants cover housing, living, and medical expenses.

Eligibility

If you are in need of assistance, please review the eligibility requirements below and then complete the application form. All grant requests will be reviewed on their merits by a committee comprised of the New Hampshire Lodging & Restaurant Association Education Foundation and NHLRA board members on an as-needed basis.

Eligible applicants must:

  • Reside and work in the state of New Hampshire.
  • Have an annual taxable income of $60,000 or less.
  • Have or held a position in the beverage, food service, or hospitality industry within the last 60 days.
  • Can provide proof of employment within the last 60 days (pay stubs).

Our goal is to help every employee, but our funding sources are limited. Please note that applications are not guarantees of funding. Funding continues to be on a first-come, first-serve basis to those who complete the application, its requirements, and meet all of the eligibility criteria.
